NCGRT has a long-standing reputation as Australia’s leading groundwater training provider for industry.

An initiative between NCGRT, Flinders University, the Australian Government, and the Government of South Australian now aims to develop groundwater education materials aimed at schools and the broader community, many of whom depend on groundwater.

These materials will cover where groundwater is found and how it moves, how groundwater interacts with the environment (groundwater-dependent ecosystems such as rivers, springs, and vegetation), the cultural values of groundwater to First Nations people, and how groundwater is currently managed. They will also describe groundwater resources in different parts of Australia.
