NCGRT PhD Program
The National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training is calling for students seeking a PhD in the area of groundwater. Candidates with skills in mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering, earth sciences, ecology, law and/or social sciences are encouraged to apply. Several of the projects are fully funded with lucrative top-ups on offer to candidates who meet the criteria whilst others will require candidates to apply for AGRTP Scholarships. Several projects have generous top-ups available to candidates on merit and experience.
The specific projects on offer are:
You must be an Australian citizen; or permanent resident of Australia; or New Zealand citizens if your project requires an AGRTP Scholarship. Applications outside of this criteria will not be considered. Fully funded scholarships are open to all candidates.
Awards will normally only be available to those who:
- Have completed at least four years of tertiary education studies at a high level of achievement and have an appropriate Honours 1 (or equivalent) undergraduate degree;
- Are enrolling as full-time students (part-time awards are available in certain circumstances);
- Will commence or are continuing a Master’s degree by research or Doctorate by research;
- Have had their candidature accepted in the area in which they propose to undertake their studies.
